when i start the game, the screen turns black and it gives "cricket07.exe has stop working".

Run the game in compatibility mode;
Right click game(in install directory)>Properties>Compatibility tab>Windows 2000/XP [from drop down menu]
On a side note, looking through Lenovo's ThinkPad T540p driver download page, there is a BIOS version 2.13 available for update alongside your other devices present. Have you installed the latest drivers and performed a BIOS update prior to going onto Windows 10?

Cricket07.exe, is from a Win 7 game you have, or had. See what the path is, and reinstall that game.
You didn't say what game it was, I would reinstall it. I have never had to use compatibility mode for anyone to get something to work in Win 10.
On my personal laptop I have games from 1997 (Hoyle Casino), and they install and run perfectly in Win 10.
