When is the next gen of CPUs from AMD and Intel coming out?

The i7 4770 and the fx- 8350 isn't that much better than my old ass i7 920 in games so i wanna know when would amd and intel release their next gens of CPUs? If anyone know please help, thanks!

Just keep your old 920 for another 3 years lol. AMD is releasing APU's in February, and Intel is releasing almost nothing for another full year or more.

Nothing interesting in store for you until Autumn 2014.

Intel are scheduling Broadwell for release in Q4 2014 (and IMO it probably will be Haswell +10% at best).

AMD is dead silent, it seems that HEDT Steamroller is scrapped, rumors say they want to release a 16-core Piledriver somewhere in 2014.

Obviously there is no telling what the future holds BUT, if you're not someone that needs the latest and greatest then your 920 still has some life in it, especially if you OC it. Looks like Intel won't have new cpu's till Q3/Q4 2014. Looks like AMD is focusing on their APU line for the time being, so no telling what they have lined up for the high end, whatever it is...I hope it doesn't suck.
