When playing a game screen goes to a solid color and lour screech is played through audio.

Just installed new gpu cpu and motherboard and thus issue appears at random intervals while playing games. I have tried re seating all components and I have the latest drivers.

Specs:
600w psu
Gigabyte 970 gaming sli board
Amd radon rx480 8 gb nitro by sapphire
Amd fx 8320 black edition processor.

From other posts it's seems like the issue could be a failing psu how would I go about testing to see if this is the case?

Unknown I'm picking up a 650 watt after work to test.

Had also spoken with someone who suggested stress testing the gpu

So for giggles I ran furmark testing and the gpu didn't last 30 seconds on 1080p and 8x aa so I no longer believe the psu is the issue I am leaning toward a bad gpu out of the box.

It's possible IT COULD BE THE CARD.

It turns out the gpu was the issue had a bad one out of the box and failed furmark test within 30 seconds swapped it out for a new one and that one made it to the end. Thanks for the help.
