Every time I would load up a high usage game like fortnite I would experiencemajor FPS spikes, Like when I'd be loading into the Battle bus and everything would be fine then all of a sudden my frames would go from 90+ frames to down to 1 making the game unplayable. The only game it happens on is Fortnite and ARK which ark I dont have the best specs for but still on super low settings i would get 60 FPS and then it would sky rocket to 1 when Im looking around. Im thinking the problem is the ram, I am running single channel and am upgrading to dual channel 8gb Ddr3. i am suspecting that is the ram but still not 100% sure.

My Specs
CPU: I3 - 2100
GPU: GTX 1050
Ram: 4Gb Ddr3 ( Am upgrading soon to 8gb)
Psu: EVGA 600w 80+ certified
HD: 500 gb 7200rpm Hard Drive

Well thank you I will be getting more ram soon, I was just trying to make sure because even though it says the minimum requirements of fortnite should be 4gb which had me confused to thinking its not the ram.

Also I have another problem, also when I open fortnite on the loading screen Im using dual monitors they seem to sorta spaz out and lose connection to the display. Im using the gtx 1050 lp gigabyte version and am very stumped by this. It only happens on fortnite.

I agree with more ram

A rule i go by when interpreting requirements is treat recommended as minimum to actually enjoy the game. Usually minimum is just to get the game running.

Keep in mind also. Windows taxes 1.5GB~2GB for itself. That doesn't leave much for games.
