when putting a new processor do i have to reformat or change anything

im getting a intel core 2 duo e7400 2.80 ghz which is replacing my pentium e2160 1.80 ghz
mobo is asus p5s mx-se
windows 7 installed
do i have to reformat once i place the new processor or will it work fine?

If you're keeping the same motherboard and storage, then just upgrading the CPU won't require formatting.
