Hello! So yeah, this has been stressing me out lately. I'm currently writing a novel and writing papers for university so it's been a true hassle, since i use TAB for proper spacing in my texts.
Basically, whenever i press TAB in Google Docs, Word or any other place, a right bracket ] appears. Sometimes i also get the spacing, others, just the unwanted character ]. In Chrome, TAB also responds normally to its functions, switching between windows and panels in the browser, but whenever i'm typing, a ] also appears. It seems like the TAB key has two commands assigned to it, but i can't find a way to properly fix this.
When it comes to hardware, i'm using a Redragon Brahma Pro K586 keyboard (i linked the product's page in the end of the post). It's brand new, but it has several weird functions which i haven't fully dominated yet. Might be that during a heated fight in one of my games i pressed something i shouldn't have. I dunno.
My Windows is up to date and i updated all the drivers with Driver Easy. I've also tried changing the keyboard to ABNT2 (i'm a native portuguese speaker) in Windows's settings, but that didn't do anything. I feel like this is such a dumb problem and it's probably laughable that i can't fix it. Probably just pressed some stupid hotkey and i can't go back. Please, help.
After i pressed the TAB key 25 times, my text in Google Docs was:
] ] ]] ] ]] ] ] ] ]] ] ] ] ] ]] ]] ]] ] ]] (all properly spaced)
And this is the link to my keyboard's webpage in the manufacturer's website: https://www.redragonzone.com/collec...e-switches-104-keys-layout-with-wrist-support . I don't think it's a very popular brand in the US or Europe, but here in Brazil it's relatively well know, so i think it's trustworthy. I really don't think i have a faulty keyboard. Could be wrong, though,
My PC's specs (if it helps, probably won't but i don't mind posting):
ASRock A320M-HD
AMD RYZEN 3 2200G
Kingston A400 120GB SSD
WESTERN DIGITAL BLUE 1TB HDD
NVIDIA GEFORCE GTX 1060 6GB
Thank you so much. Sorry for probably posting something dumb, but this has been really stressing me out during the semester; i have to write a lot.
