Whenever I try to launch the game Ark Survival Evolved, I get an error that reads "DX11 feature level 10.0 is required to run the engine."

This is a fresh install of Windows 7, before re-installing Windows 7 i was able to play this game with no issues whtsoever

I try to fix that 'DX11 10.0'. But i always try, but still can't 🙁(

If you're still trying to fix this, please tell me the following:
1: What Graphics Card do you have?
2: Is it a laptop or desktop PC?
3: Have you installed drivers after you reinstalled Windows 7?

As a quick fix, try add -sm4 -d3d10 to the launch properties.

-sm4 forces the game to use Shader Model 4 instead of the usual Shader Model 5. The game looks and feels almost the same but you get much better performance. As a result of this, it also forces the game into using DX10 instead of DX11 - this may be a quick fix for your problem. To run at Dx10 successfully I would also recommend down grading DX3D to v10 by using -d3d10.

Steps:

1. Go into your steam games library
2. Find Ark Survival and right click it
3. Select properties
4. In the General tab, click: Set Launch Options...
5. Past this in

-sm4 -d3d10

Simply remove the line -sm4 -d3d10, and it goes back the way it were.

You might need to run the DX updater tool to get the latest DX binaries. If you haven't installed DX11 yet, that's probably where the problem is.
