Where are the Advanced Text Formatting options?

I've asked this in the past, but it is still an unresolved issue.

When I am composing a new forum topic, or replying to an existing one, there is no Advanced Text Formatting bar (with choices). It doesn't exist.

Why?

I'm using Internet Explorer version 9 with all latest updates.

Is there anything else I can do to actually 'see' the formatting options on THG? It works on almost every other forum, just no this one!!!

You are not alone on this my friend. I've been using it in all 3 browsers (Chrome, Firefox, IE) and the issue is consistent. I even have updated both Java and Flash and still no avail. I've been mousing over them and letting the description box pop so I know what I;m looking at
