Where can I buy inline USB plugs/sockets for power?

I want to hook up a small electric motor to a USB power supply, but I cannot seem to find an inline USB plug/socket. Anyone know of a source?

I may be overthinking this. I will just cut one end off of a USB cable, strip the wires, and splice it, using the two outside wires (+/- 5v)
