Where can I draw 12V from my motherboard?

I need to draw 12V from my motherboard but I have no idea where I can get 12V from except fans which is not an option because in my case, if the fans are not connected or not running, my PC will not turn on, even if the heatsink is not touching the processor properly it will not turn on, my motherboard is Dell 0K075K, thanks.

I'd go with the SATA or molex connector from the power supply.

As alexoiu says a Molex from the power supply would be the best option,you would need to connect to the yellow wire.

The problem is, I have a 24-pin power supply, if I had molex that would be the first thing I would do, I looked into drawing power from CD-drive output since I got one and I have two outputs but they only give out 5V, I was thinking about digging into the cable that supply power to motherboard since it gives out 12V but I'm afraid that it may decrease the voltage and under-power the motherboard.

I doubt that the amount of power used by a fan would have any influence on the 12 Volt line to the motherboard.
The easiest way would be to connect the fan wires using these to the yellow and black lines of the 24 pin ; http://

I'm planning to run 8-chan fan controller and water cooling pump, thats why I'm a bit worried about taking power from parts that need it.

If there are no other cables with 12 Volt then you will either need to replace the PSU with one that has spare Molex connectors or get an external power supply and run a 12 Volt wire into the case from outside.
