[SOLVED] Where can i gain improvements?

Use computer for gaming averaging around 100fps mark depending on game with low settings usually, I'm just wondering where I can start off with component changes to gain some increase in fps and smoothness? Any help welcome, specs below.

CPU/MB/RAM would be a start if you want higher FPS.

I don't think you can go much higher with the GPU. I might consider a DDR4 MB upgrade and a new CPU.

I've thought about upgrading ram before but always been unsure as which is best, do I get 2x4? 1x8? 2x8? 1x16?

Can you recommend a CPU that would be an upgrade but not way over priced?

Memory is usually better in dual channel so a 2x4gb or 2x8gb would be best. As for your current socket there's nothing that I'd recommend investing in, save for Ryzen.

Okay thanks for your help, I think ill look into 2x4gb ddr4 and save for the processor
