Back in 2020, I bought a metal PNY 5TB USB flash drive, heavy thing. Now I want to buy two more, but now, not only can I not find anyone selling them, I can't even find a single mention of that device. It's like the internet was scrubbed to "erase" the existence of that device. I'm pretty sure I got it at Walmart in the Electronics section, an impulse buy. I mean, it was somewhere between $150 and $250, so I just had to buy it, right? Be crazy not to, if you know what I mean.
I scoured my Amazon orders for 2020, and no, I did not get it on Amazon. Definitely got it at Walmart in-store. Even the manifacturer refuses to admit that they ever sosld that device, or that it even exists. Well, I'm not crazy! It's plugged into my computer right now!
The rocket surgeons here won't permit me to upload the image of the device. They can't extract it from a Google Drive link (https://drive.google.com/file/d/1n2QJYpfaVDFhmqAM4jouSXAt_Kx3QytM/view?usp=sharing), but there it is. By virtue of the very nature of the problem that I am experiencing with locating the device on the net, I cannot provide a URL for an image of it! Jeez!
The biggest sticks I can find on the net are a piddling, paltry, piss-poor two terabytes. Come on! You'd think that in five years there would have been made advances on this storage technology, but even the manufacturer of the device installed on my computer says, "Sorry. Dunno what the Hell you're talkin' about," figuratively.
