Where Can I Really Learn In-Depth About Power Supplies?

I love power supplies. Period. Over the past several months, I've learned so much about PSUs, but I seek more knowledge. I know the functions of a PSU, I know what makes a good quality PSU vs a bad quality. I understand x and y capacitors, as well as the electrolytics and polymers. I understand the general insides of a PSU, such as the transformer stepping down the voltage of the high-frequency AC that was switched from the normal 50-60Hz.

But I want to learn more, but I don't know how. For instance, I want to learn:

And I want to learn how the heck this works:

What are some ways I can learn this stuff? I know there will be PSU experts reading this stuff who know a lot more than me... Where do you learn it all? College? I'll be there soon, but I'd like to get a head start but don't know where to start, so right now my head is befuddled!

Maybe a book?

Solution
That's a broad topic. What your basically asking about is electrical engineering. It covers other disciplines, such as math, physics, and even mechanical engineering. The best place to start would be college.
