where did this Realtek PCIe GBE Family Controller come from? Why is my router not connected to any networks

I don't know what this Realtek PCIe GBE Family Controller is or where it came from. I have a cisco router, says its running, but when I go into device mgr. it is listed ONLY under Network Infastructure Devices, and not under network adapters. I want to use wi-fi, no clue how to set that up in Windows 10 64-bit. I cannot change or add any networks or network adapters. Please help. I get nowhere in MS windows 10 help/support

That Realtek controller is a Chip in your computer or router that basically controls the internet on your device. Look up the make and model of your computer on the manufacturer's website and see if they have any network drivers. You may also have to set up that router.
