Thank you. Again, I'm not supporting them, but "walking a mile in their
moccasins." We became involved without a clear and realistic set of
goals, then micromanaged military actions.

I'm not sure if I mentioned it, but there is an excellent analysis of
thinking through the consequences of action in Fred Ikle's book, _Every
War Must End_ (try to get the revised addition that covers 1991). Ikle
is hardly a dove, but rather a subcabinet official in several Republican
administrations and a well-respected scholar. He goes through many
historical examples, but the general message is that countries that get
involved in military action without goals for victory or defeat tend to
have bad things happen to them.

Not as specific, but still relevant and with a wonderful title, is
Barbara Tuchman's _March to Folly_. It describes the buildup to World
War One, up to the point where Europe was in major battles and the
policymakers were asking themselves "just how did we get here?"

May I suggest that if I did have some relationship with certain active

Rush, I'd prefer a steamy, illicit relationship with Ann Coulter, as

No, not that many. And let's not forget that the so-called
winter soldier hearings were fraud, perpetrated by the North
Vietnamese commie cheering squad.

And let's not forget the 2.5 million people who were murdered
because we elected that cheering squad and bailed out.

Ann Coulter is a transexual, didn't you know? The mouth breathers who
listen to her think she's hot because they've never been with a real
woman.

Personally, if I had to have an affair with a propaganda press slut,
I'd pick Laura Ingraham.
