Where do M.2 go on this board?

i'm looking at buying a new board specifically the ROG MAXIMUS XI EXTREME
I'm looking at a diagram for it and the way it shows the m.2 slots confuses me. it shows the m.2 on the ASUS logo im not seeing any place to screw the m.2 down or plug it in?

its under the heatsink follow the arrow. there's a dual slot under there the lower right corner is the heatsink with ASUS logo

so i would need to remove that whole thing with the Asus logo to plug two m.2 SSDs in? I've seen other boards with the heat sink but none looked like that? its not just a straight piece but i'm guessing i'd just unscrew the only 2 screws on that logo plug them in and screw it back?

You can also use bundled ROG DIMM.2 dual M.2 expansion card to connect 2x M.2 NVME drives.
