Where do you keep your batteries?

Where do you keep your batteries? Am I the only one that keeps them in the kitchen?

Back home they are in a hallway drawer by the bedrooms.
Here they are in my middle desk drawer (and backpack).

Unused batteries, in a drawer in a 100 year old oak cupboard.
Used, in an old flower pot, while awaiting the trip to recycling.
