Just tossing this out here for discussion.

In the old forum, when you click on a thread you've previously responded in, it took you to the last read post. In the new forum software, it takes you to the first unread post.

Personally, I preferred the old way of showing the last read post. It served as a reminder of where the thread left off.

Which do you prefer?

I prefer the old way, due to the reminder thing. The same goes for posts you have read but don't posted in, but still want to revisit.

this seems to be the new trend in v bulletin forums . its their latest technology
