Where does this case fan connector thing connect to my motherboard??

Hey guys my pc is nearly complete but these two connectors for the fans on my case are confusing me, I don’t know where they go on motherboard ASUS z270 mark 1. I’m afraid I can’t send a picture but the cable is connected to this bay where all my fan headers are connected, it’s wide and doesn’t have pins or need pins from motherboard inserted to work as far as I can see in kind of makes a sideways L shape

No I don’t think so it’s this cable connected to this bay where all the cases fans seem to be connected, they won’t work without it plugged in somewhere between t I don’t know where it will work

What make and model of case do you have?
Do the fan connectors look like the first one on this page...

What is the make/model of your case?
Many cases that include a fan controller need to be powered by a psu molex connector.
Molex is white with 4 pins on it.
