Why do you need a brightness/contrast settings so bad? It's better just to control it through the screen/monitor itself since you have full control of everything.
For the brightness settings in the Radeon control panel, i assume you are talking about the "Custom Brightness" in Video settings, if so you are looking at the wrong thing. This is for Video/Game custom settings not the native brightness control for the screen. As for Nvidia control panel, at least the Radeon one doesn't look like an outdated Windows XP program with no style what so ever 😛
I need it because it's hurting my eye so bad at full glow i am not used to default 50-50 brightness contrast and as for the custom video settings it still doesn't go as far as nvidia and even intel control panel did + it didn't even have contrast settings nor the apply button to test different settings.

So even if nvidia panel looks outdated to some people (mostly amd fanboys) it does provide what u need unlike amd
😀 But now the only options it seems is to use directly monitor buttons thanks to amd

I totally agree with you. Both Microsoft and Radeon are to blame. Why Microsoft would not ensure such a basic option in their settings and also why Radeon have somehow withdrawn the option as well. I have performed a fresh install windows 10 (followed by latest Radeon driver suite install) and brightness slider is missing from 'Display' and 'Advanced Settings'. Also some users have said there is a 'windows mobility centre' option . That is not on my system. There is an 'Ease of use' window in settings but no brightness control. This is a widespread fault judging by an internet search. Is there a brightness slider on anyone's windows 10?. Also I have no task bar button/power button that changes brightness by 25%. Whats that about anyway? Only allowing such a large change is crazy! I have a large Asus monitor and can change brightness but it is fiddly and the basic function should be in the software; regardless. I am also using f.lux which is grande piece of kit for people with eye problems such as me. Microsoft or Radeon would do well to incorporate that as well. Sorry I can't be of more help/
