So I have been looking for these settings in 1803 and I haven't found them at all. All of the tutorials are outdated and I am sick of manually clicking "Check for Updates" every day. WHERE IS IT?!?

Solution

Exactly.
My Win 10 Home install says that it is up to date, and Last checked at 5:42AM this morning.

Just leave it...it will do its own thing when ready.
Same place as before: Settings/Update&Security

No, it's not related to running in a local account.
That looks exactly like mine, either Win 10 Home or Pro, in a local account.

What seems to be missing on yours?
Which version of Win 10 are you using?

That does not exist.
The only real option is under Advanced, and then Metered.

You can't just "turn off" updates.

Unmaximise your window. You'll find it looks just like SkyNets...

I am on home, and I don't know if I clarified but I want to turn it ON, so that it updates when I am doing whatever, then restarts outside of active hours. I cant find an option saying "turn on automatic updates"

It IS on.
I just looked at my Win 10 Home install on a different PC, and it looks exactly like yours.
You don't have to manually check it every day. It will do its thing when it gets ready.

So, just leave it? It says it scans every 17-22 hrs or something, but will it restart itself outside of active hours?
