Where my mouse!!

I'm going to rephrase my question...when I used to go to Boot my computer I'd go to Boot my mouse would be there now it's not there anymore but it's at yahoo, gmail, etc.....why wouldn't my mouse be at boot too! Windows 7 Aspen Ascer ...this time I got it right!

Do you have desktop gadgets or something?Delete them!Try to open something, Google or anything if it works, it seems like your mouse is invisible. Go to Control Panel —)Mouse —)Change cursor and select what cursor do you want and Apply.

Hi Andreinf I went to type mouse and well first I want to tell you I'm very still new at TECHNOLOGY and when I did type mouse I never went where it took me but what I saw it was about the mouse but I couldn't understand what I should do so I left it the way it was!! And no I don't have any gadget the only thing I have on my screen when it's open is only the icons I need. And again for the mouse, it's here when I type it's in Yahoo etc so I don't know why it wouldn't be in the Safe Mode it was always there in the past!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Not very clear what is happening. You turn on the computer, Windows starts, but you don't see the mouse cursor? Not even if you move the mouse? If you can't see the mouse, how are you starting the programs? Using the keyboard?

Also need system specs you did not say if it was a desktop or laptop or anything about the computer. Did anything get installed or deleted before the issue started? Do other people use the computer and they may have changed something?

Also what are you talking about Safe Mode? Did you start the system in Safe Mode to try to fix this? Safe Mode is only used to troubleshoot issues with Windows that disables many things and just starts a basic Windows configuration, do you actually know what that is and why you are starting the system in Safe Mode and not normally?

First, my laptop is Windows 7 it's an Acer Aspire Model MS2278.....Make and MODEL: 7540G-1088......SERIES: 95211634320. When I start my computer the mouse cursor appears (I have to wait but not long) I have installed awhile ago and deleted some stuff that I thought should be there anymore but didn't check to see if in the Safe Mode my mouse was visible (I didn't think at that time that my mouse would no longer be there)! No there is no people that using my computer. I'm talking about Safe Mode because I go there to boost my computer I was told sometimes it needs it.

So if the mouse cursor appears when you start the computer, what is the issue? Did this start after you installed or deleted that some stuff or is that not related to what is happening? You do not have to go into Safe Mode ever unless the system is having issues. It does nothing to "boost" the computer if you are talking about cleaning it up when it starts to run slower. Soon as you start in normal mode everything is back to the way it was.

What exactly is happening, you said you see the cursor when you turn on the computer, then what? The fact that you have a laptop is pretty important since it may be an issue with the touchpad.
