where should i plug in my case fans?

ive been playing games and noticed that my cpu and gpu temps where pretty high, i have my case fans pluged into my power supply and when i go into the bios to turn them up it doesn't seem like anything has happened what should i do plug them into my motherboard?

Its brand new 1060 i think its just a one off i look at msi amd it shows it spikes once to 100 usally sits at 60-80 ingame

Does it occur often? And how long does it sit on 100C? Either bad cooling or something wrong with the gpu. Im not 100% sure but thats what i think.

The computer doesn`t shut down due to overheating either?

It probably sits at 100 for a second then it goes to 80s i van crank up the fans manualy but i dont want to break them pre maturely

I think its just a bad heat sensor

Might be, but you could hear with the manufactor to be clear or wait for a better answer.

Whenever im unsure about things i often hear with the manufactor and ask for a new replacement on the warranty.
