The subject says it all. I've tried looking around some of the pricing engines and I've found pretty outrageous prices. Anybody have suggestions? I'd even go with a refurbed unit with a 6 months or a year warranty.

Thanks

I found good monitors on ebay. Try searching for FP2141SB or DP2070SB. I brought a DP2070SB for around $500 uS. THe monitor rocks!

You can get the 2111SB-BK at some Frys. That would save you the shipping costs. I've never seen a 2141SB anywhere so you're probably going to have to get it online.

The 2141SB is a higher model. I did some reading about both a while back and decided that I wouldn't notice the difference between the two based upon what I read, but in the end I could never find the 2141SB so I had no way of knowing. I think the 2141SB is capable of higher resolutions iirc. The problem is finding these monitors and then when you do, finding them setup without the signal being split and them being only on a screensaver.

I never got either.

There's no difference between FP2141SB and DP2070SB. The DP2070SB is a better name. The FE2111SB is one resolution down, the max res is 1920 x 1440, which you will never use anyways. The better buy is FE2111SB. The DP2070SB is a brighter monitor than FE2111SB, when the settings are the same, but you can increase the settings in Windows to ofset the difference.
