Where to enable usb keyboard support in pheonix award bios?

I have been trying to install kp on a new drive but it keeps telling me ntdlr missing push ctrl+alt+del to restart. i am using a usb keyboard and hav configured bios to boot from cdrom but still no luck . any ideas?
by the way i am also trying to update a hard drive that uses the old ide setup.

So I assume you're trying to boot off the XP disc, to do a windows repair?

Now that you've set the CD drive as the first boot device, do you see the message to 'press any key' when it's starting up? If not, it's not booting off your disc.
