Hey guys, I recently got a Cooler Master SickleFlow 120mm fan for my computer. To keep things basic and short, I have the Thermaltake Chaser A21 Case for my computer. I only have the regular fans I have that I recieved with the case and all of them are in their original area, 2 in the front, 1 in the back where the motherboard panel is. My computer sits under a desk where there desk completely surrounds the computer from all angles except the front and there is some space to the sides and top but still surrounded. My question is I want to know where I should put this fan to get max cooling and in what direction should it be placed. Also, this might affect the situation, idk, but my cable management is the best and I can't re-do it. Thank You for your help in advance

im assuming your front are intake and the back exhaust? .... well, since its enclosed in the back theres nowhere for that heat to go. i would say put it in the top as an intake, but also change the rear to intake and the front to exhaust. that way you're pulling air in through the gaps around it, and pushing it out in to the open environment where it can escape and not just recirculate in the system or build up inside the enclosure.

thats what i would try. maybe itll be better, maybe not, but its not too much effort to flip their direction of flow and try something else. just try to figure out the best way to intake fresh air and allow exhausted air to dissipate.
You could place it in the rear, to pull air out better. I am saying this since it will create a slight negative air pressure if all your older fans can't keep up, which is not bad. If your desk surrounds the case even from rear, then placing it in front is a better option. That's what I think.

I already have fans there from the original fans I received from the case when I bought it

I'm sorry but could you tell me like what direction you mean when saying intake and exhaust, like fan facing towards back or front

sure. intake is pulling air in to the case, and exhaust is pushing air out. often fans have an arrow one one side showing direction of flow, but barring that it usually flows towards the side with the sticker and structural support that connects the center hub to the frame.
