I'm going to order my PC today and was actually originally looking at the ASUS DirectCu II 770 which was going for $309 on Newegg but unfortunately it's no longer on sale... So, I went looking around and the other 770's were a little too expensive for me so I decided to look into the 280x.
There are a couple in particular that stood out to me, and were a good deal those being:
(http://www.amazon.com/XFX-RADEON-1000MHz-Graphics-R9-280X-TDFD/dp/B00FSC5N66/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1399406417&sr=8-1&keywords=radeon+r9+280x) - $309 XFX Double D
(http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16814202046) - $300 Sapphire 280x (Not Toxic)
(http://www.amazon.com/Gigabyte-GDDR5-3GB-Graphics-GV-R928XOC-3GD-REV2/dp/B00H34J64M/ref=sr_1_4?ie=UTF8&qid=1399406526&sr=8-4&keywords=radeon+r9+280x) - $309 Gigabyte
(http://www.amazon.com/HIS-iPower-DLDVI-I-Graphics-H280XQMT3G2M/dp/B00FNHVUTA/ref=sr_1_17?ie=UTF8&qid=1399406570&sr=8-17&keywords=radeon+r9+280x) - $300 HIS iPower IceQ X

I kind of wanted the XFX because of its visual design, but I'm interested to know which is the "best" in overall noise levels, heat, and overclocking. Only one I didn't particularly like was the HIS just because in my opinion it's butt ugly :p
Anyways, thanks for the opinions :)

I would go for the gigabyte one as from what i've seen it has the best cooler out of all the 280x's. I say don't go with the xfx one as they're coolers aren't the best so the overclocking headroom is lower then the gigabyte one (the same goes with the his card). The sapphire card would be good if it was toxic but it isn't so i say just stick with the gigabyte card. The gigabyte card is a bit louder then the other cards but not by much and it has better cooling and higher overclocking headroom.

Yeah, I think I may do that (the Gigabyte one is also the same price on Newegg as on Amazon but comes with 3 free game codes :D). Any other opinions on this?
