Which Acer had 8i945ae Board?

Having big problems finding audio, etc., drivers for the Acer 8i945ae board or the manual, board map, but there's a chance I could from Acer's 'old products' page if I knew which Acer used that board.

Acer seems to have everything indexed by product name, no listing of boards.

Be great if someone could tell me? Anyone happen to know? Happen to have that same machine?

Thanks for that. Pretty close but not exact. That's the 8i945g, I think. Mine is the AE. The board layout is not the same. The front panel header is not in the same place and the manual gives no description of the pinouts for one.

Nor, of course, because not the same, is there any explanation of what the two sets of two pins near that header are for - which I'd like to know.

I have downloaded some of the drivers on offer there, though. I wonder would they most probably work fine with my board? In particular the audio driver?

EDIT: Problem solved. I'm a slow old dude. The answer was right there in the BIOS. Veriton 5800.

Now we're motoring on...



FURTHER EDIT: Nope. No further along. Same manual, same drivers, no more information. Less and less impressed with Acer...
