Hi guys,

I'd like to overclock my fx 8320 but I don't know which CPU cooler choose. My motherboard is going to be the AsRock 990fx killer and my case, either the Phantom 530 or the Xpredator X3. I'd like to take a water cooling AIO kit that is silencious and efficient. I don't have any budget but the less I pay, the better.

Thank for answering a have a great day.

If you have no plans of adding a second cooling block then a normal AIO like the 100i would do the job. Fan noise can be a issue depending on the heat load. When I had a 100i on a 8350 it ramped the fans up when benchmarking to a pretty load level. Normal everyday use it's fairly quiet. You can build a custom fan curve with the Corsair Link2 software that's part of the 100i.

You say you want to OC, be careful, this is the first stage of a insidious disease that empties your wallet. The 240L is $30 more than the 100i, I think it's $30 will spent. You get a better rad, better pump and better fans, IMHO.

As far as "some thing decent" that can mean much different components to different users. You can spend $100 or $1000 and have...

Seconded. Actually designed by Swiftech which is a player in the custom water cooling industry. I'm using the H220 which is the original Swiftech model of the 240L and it performs great. Can be no maintenance like the other AiO's.

Thanks for your answers guys.

The cooler master is pretty epxensive. Same for the kraken x60. I'm not going to make a big overclock. I never tried it so I don't execpt to make something awesome. Is it really necessary to a water cooler that expensive?

What do you mean by "if you are never going to expend".I'm a big noob in hardware so I don't know how much i need to pay to get some thing decent. I just need a water cooler that gets the job done and that doesn't make a lot of noise. The h100i could fit in my budget. But I think I've read somewhere that the fans make a lot of noise. Is it true?
