which amd cpu should i get

i am building a low to high range gaming pc and my mother board only supports AMD processors but i don't know which one would be the best for my build, right now i only have an "AMD fx 4300 quad core processor, please tell me what processor is the best for gaming from AMD. i don't want to bottle neck my "msi gtx 960 2gb" either so something that wont bottle neck it.

Yuck. You could probably use a FX6300 but you won't be able to overclock it. I recommend just saving enough to get a new cpu and new motherboard at the same time. The FX4300 is not THAT bad.
