Hello, I was just wondering which ATX Asus ROG z270 motherboard is the best. I was going to get the MSI Gaming m3 to go with my gpu...any reason i should go with msi instead of Asus?
But back to the main question, they have a slighlty confusing order for asus products. so theres the z270E, F, G and H but for some reaosn the F is more expensive than the H wihtn osale on? i would have thought that the higher the letter the better tha mobo? Help me pick please xD, im pairing it with a msi 970 and a 7600k. i wanna oc the cpu to about 4.6ish GHz. Any help is good help, thanks!!!

I was asking myself the same question this week. They are pretty much all the same, the only differences being in some added modules or interfaces and board size. One has WiFi onboard, others have a front panel USB-C connector. Some are ATX, the others are mini-ATX.

I ordered the H board because it was cheapest, I don't need wifi and wanted a full size ATX board. You can use the comparison tool on the ASUS website to show them side by side.

You can always SLI later, which is what I tell myself, but by the time I have the money to buy another of whatever I'm using at the moment, they are usually not for sale anywhere.
so out of the new z270 asus strix 1151 models, which is best suited? they arent as straight forward as msi (gaming m3, 5, 7) since it goes from e-h. Which is the better mobo? i was looking at this one... https://www.amazon.co.uk/ASUS-1151-STRIX-Z270H-GAMING/dp/B01MY0S0KV/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1484151429&sr=8-3&keywords=asus+z270+strix

Paired with a 970 and an i5 7600k with 16gb of ram. Can the 970 have an sli later? or would it just be better to get a 1060 or someting. I dunno but my main question is about the motherboard plez xD decided to go with the asus but i would like to know which model
