Help, I have a budget of $300 and I am wondering what build is better: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/7xpwdC or http://pcpartpicker.com/p/GqZtzy.
I was thinking about AMD APU, but heard they were complete trash. With the budget I am in I can't complain about it but decided to see if I could get a dedicated cpu+gpu budget build. is the dedicated cpu+gpu build I linked worth it/better than the apu? I am also planning on upgrading later down the road. The games I play now aren't high demanding games, which is why I went for the 120 gb SSD. Any feedback is appreciated <3.

Solution
Then get the Intel build with the 500W PSU. The R9-270 will make a better gamer, and you can always move to an i5 when you want to upgrade again.
W/o a discrete gfx card, the APU is limited to gaming @ 720 resolution (or there about). If you game at 1080p, get the Intel dual core/R9-270 for now and save up for a faster CPU before Haswells are completely obsolete. Btw, you really a 450W PSU for the R9-270.

I don't mind gaming at 720p, but is picking an apu going to stop me from future upgradability?

More so than the Intel build, yes. The APU can keep up with a fast gfx card up to about the GTX 960/R9-380 w/o major bottleneck. But you'll need a bigger PSU for that. W/0 a discrete gfx card, you will have to reduce settings a bit to get smooth game play.

Which one would you recommend; if you were in my situation which one would you pick? I can upgrade the Intel build's PSU to a 550W one (http://pcpartpicker.com/part/thermaltake-power-supply-sp550pcbus). Also if I were to pick the Intel build, which CPU should I be looking at to upgrade in the future?
