HI every one.

This build going thru pc shop so I don't want to ask them as they will look ( most of times) on profit not on what is the best for me.

I will be very pleased if anyone can help with advise.
SSD drive is not relevant at all.

you won't notice the difference day to day with either CPU.

they are so close in performance it's not worth worrying about. the only way you'll notice the difference is if you spend all your time benchmarking and stat watching. otherwise flip a coin and know either one will be a great system.

Processors are comparable at the given price point.
I would rate the i5-13400 a bit better because if the slightly better single thread performance that is most important for gaming:

For a trivial price difference, I would buy the i5-13400 with included graphics.
If you should ever have a gpu issue, integrated can bail you out.

Both processors come with an adequate cpu cooler.
The AK400 is only marginally better.
If you are going to buy an aftermarket cooler, buy a good one.

It is a mistake to buy a single 16gb ram stick.
Processors run faster with a 2 stick kit of 2 x 8.

Lastly, do not buy a cheap psu. That Corsair is considered as tier C, low end.
It has only a 3 year warranty.
You really want a psu with at least a 5 year warranty or preferably 7-10 years.
Look at Seasonic focus or corsair RM x.
And, I would buy 750w or more.
Either processor can run a stronger future gpu upgrade.

Pretty big sample of benches shows the 13400 to be 15% faster in apps and about 5-6% better in games if there is no slow down from the GPU.
It's not a huge difference but if you have to pay for them get the one that gives you more.
