Hi, I was trying yo do some research about cameras, but they only left me more confused. I am a beginner and I just want to take better photos for Instagram and for fun. There are two kits that I have found so far.

CANON EOS 250D DSLR Camera with EF-S 18-55 mm f/3.5-5.6 III & EF 50 mm f/1.8 STM Lens for £669
and Sony ZV-1 for £550 on ebay.
But I would like some significant upgrade comparing to my iphone 12 pro, is it possible in that budget?
I'd rather a brand new camera from the store with a warranty.

Is there a better option in this price range? and are those better than an iphone 12 pro camera?
Don't get too wrapped up in "better".
Technique and lighting are far more important than the difference between Sony/Canon/Nikon/Fuji.
Any DSLR in that price range will be roughly similar.

They will all take good pics. They will probably be better, with practice, than an iPhone.

They may differ a little on specific features.
