which card would run eyefinity better on 3 19" 720p res. monitors?

which card would run eyefinity best on 3 720p res. monitors?
either a:

Sapphire Radeon Vapor-X HD 7950 OC with Boost 3 GB DDR5 DL-DVI-I/SL-DVI-D/HDMI/DP PCI-Express Graphics Card 11196-09-40G

or a:

Sapphire Radeon R9 280X 3GB GDDR5 DVI-I/DVI-D/HDMI/DP Dual-X OC Version (UEFI) PCI-Express Graphics Card 11221-00-20G

would either of them be able to run games on high with 40fps on 3 19" 720p res. monitors?

I'm going with the r9 280x hands down, it's a much faster card than the 7950. I cannot however tell you how much FPS you would likely get with that resolution.
