I am stuck between these two choices.
I7 8700k paired with Gtx 1060 6gb
Or
Ryzen 5 2600 paired with Rtx 2060

I checked benchmarks and the i7 8700k somewhat shows higher fps? I may be wrong.

I7 is a power house i know but that rtx 2060 gives me some second thoughts.
Any advice is appreciated TY

Go with the 2060 and if needed buy a 3rd gen Ryzen yes Intel is ahead in performance but not really by much and that gap closes more and more with zen 2 on the way I just feel an extra 3 - 6 FPS in most cases is pretty dumb in my opinion.

Is that so. Yes im also thinking swapping the 2600 to 3600. I saw the leaks and its pretty amazing. Thanks a lot.

Wait for official reviews to come out.All we have are leaks and its not always accurate.I personally went for the ryzen 5 2600 because i don't play much games. The only difference you really see are in 1080p.So if your a competitive gamer then the 8700k makes a lot of sense if not then the 2600 are a steal price to performance wize.If you play on anything higher than 1080p then you become gpu bound so you will maybe see 5-10fps difference on 1440p and 4k.
