Which company to choose for GTX1080

The best card is likely the Zotac amp extreme or EVGA Classified, but those are overpriced unless you are planning to do something like ln2 overclocking. There will be very little variance between the cards, and just go for the one that is cheapest. Usually that is the EVGA SC.

Gigabyte is one of the few companies that I HAVE had trouble with (just a dead card). During the height of my gaming they were putting out a lot of bad cards too so I wouldn't recommend it although it might be a lot different since the past couple years. ASUS I've never dealt with, no reason why really they seem like they're good cards.

EVGA has huge thermal issues with Pascal. They're bottom of the list for the brand you should get. If you order one from EVGA now It's fine, if you order one from Amazon or any reseller It's not. Because their revision features thermal pads that were missing in the older models (Yet majority of those models currently still being sold), and Amazon and such might have old stock. So you'll receive an EVGA GPU without thermal pads and you'll risk frying the GPU or even catching fire.

Best Pascal GPU's are the MSI Gaming X, Zotac AMP! Series, Gigabyte XTREME (Not 100% verified), Asus ROG Strix, Galax HOF.

Thats why i better stay away from evga on gtx 1080 series

Thinking about asus or gigabyte since i've never done a gpu oc and maybe wont ever need, also these two brands are highly reputable

Well from my side, have 3 cards from gigabyte - no problems encountered: HD7770 1ghz edition, R9 270 and R9 290x
From asus side i only have mobo's and couple sound cards. And Gigabyte's Windforce cooler was the best you can get on R9 290x compared to other after market cards out there.

were talking about gtx 1080 not gtx 1060 :) ZOTAC GeForce GTX 1080 AMP! Extreme - 73c Load http://www.guru3d.com/articles_pages/zotac_geforce_gtx_1080_amp_extreme_review,9.html , MSI GeForce GTX 1080 GAMING Z 8G review - 71c Load http://www.guru3d.com/articles_pages/msi_geforce_gtx_1080_gaming_z_8g_review,9.html , Gigabyte GeForce GTX 1080 G1 GAMING - 72c Load http://www.guru3d.com/articles_pages/gigabyte_geforce_gtx_1080_g1_gaming_review,9.html , MSI GeForce GTX 1080 GAMING X 8G - 70c Load http://www.guru3d.com/articles_pages/msi_geforce_gtx_1080_gaming_x_8g_review,9.html , ASUS ROG Strix GeForce GTX 1080 - 67c Load http://www.guru3d.com/articles_pages/asus_rog_strix_geforce_gtx_1080_review,9.html not a huge ammount of difference while gigabyte and asus use better parts than msi, zotac, evga and others.

the reason is that cooler is massive on gigabyte gtx 1080 xtreme gaming which can be compared to zotac amp xtreme but gigabyte's one is better than zotac, more airflow, silence, oc capability

I have the EVGA FTW Acx.3 and I am veeeeeeery happy with it ! I am rendering every day with it and it never goes above 70 degrees even if its at 100% for more than 2 hours. You will probably have to update your BIOS after you buy it.
