Hi Guys,

Need some assistance/advise please. I have the following system :

Intel i5 4440
Gigabyte H81M-DS2 Motherboard
8GB RAM
Gigabyte AMD R9 270x OC Windforce
Zalman Z3 Plus case with 5 120mm fans ( 2 front intake, 2 top exhausts and 1 rear exhaust)

As the subjects asks, which cooler do I choose? I currently run the stock cooler with CPU temps round about 50-60C when playing games ( COD : Ghosts , BF4 , FarCry 4). When running Prime95 CPU goes up to 74C, I know the temps are nothing to worry about while playing games.

I just want the CPU temp a little lower so I was wondering if the Zalman - CNPS90F will do the trick? I do not want to spend a lot of money if it is not worth it. The Zalman CNPS90F is ZAR75, in USD it would be +-$5-6.

Also will it fit?

Thanks for your input.

I'm also from SA, water cooling is expensive, but in the long run it's worth it

You can get the Coolermaster SEIDON 120V PLUS for R680
I personally have heard the fan is loud, but the Zalman will bring your temp just below your standard cooler.
Would say it's more about the look than actual cooling to me, if you compare it to the standard one...

Temp will drop, but not by much. Rather save up and get water cooling..

Thanks Wayne, water colling in South Africa is extremely expensive due to the exchange rate, for example a Corsair Hydro H110i GT Closed Loop CPU Cooler is ZAR1900, that equals $137. PC parts in general are very expensive in South Africa.
