Which Cpu for a Gtx 1070 or 1080.

I am planning on buying on Black Friday. I want to know which of these cpu's I should get. Xeon E3 1230v5. E3 1240v5. Or a core i5 6600k.

What on earth are you on about?
I never said that.
The extra latency hyperthreading adds to a CPU can diminish single thread performance when compared with an i5 full stop.

The Xeon is also hyper threaded. Its the exact same cpu without the igpu for 70 less bucks lol.
