Which CPU is best for MSI GTX 1070 Gaming x 8gb?

Hello,
I am going to buy or hesitating because my computer (desktop) has repeatedly freeze and/or crash either when I am not playing a game or playing one. So I have decided to buy the MSI gtx gaming x 8gb and check for the cpu, one suggested intel core i7-5930k 6-core 3.5ghz, but I do not know if this is good due that is very expensive I find.
My computer has AMD FX-6300 Six-Core Processor, 8gb Ram and nvidia geforce gtx 660.

Around 400-500 for everything, but I don't know if that would be enough.
