What CPU up to $50 would you recommend to replace my G3260, so the FCLGA1150 socket. I cannot afford a new computer nor at very least a new mobo, so I am stuck wit this socket. Dual core in this day and age is true pain. If I were to build a new PC, I'd know decent enough on my own, but I am not very familiar with old hardware.

Have you looked at the motherboard website to see the list of CPUs the manufacturer supports?

yes! so i have so i've been thinking:

i3 4360 (~$15US)
i5 4690k (~$50.6US)
i5 4770 (can't find a local used listing atm but maybe if i wait (?) )
or perhaps Xeon E3-1275 (~$44 US)

i also found an i7 4770K for ~100 which is imo a bit overpriced for 2013 cpu.

[note im not from EU or US, so ebay is a no due to potential import fees]
