It honestly depends on what you're doing. For games, I would personally recommend the i5. Unless you're doing something more than gaming such as streaming, editing/recording, etc. you won't see that much of a difference. Don't get me wrong; I'm not saying that there isn't a difference there, but it won't be worth a $100 charge. Just my 2 cents.
Thanks. Indeed I just want some light gaming. Mostly old console emulators, up to PlayStation 2 era. Also some PC games like Guild Wars 2, Path of Exile, Diablo, and the likes. No plans on streaming or editing, also do not care to run games at max settings. I mostly play on PS4, the PC will be a supplement platform.
