I am upgrading my desktop and changing processors I have windows vista going to Windows 10. Going to a duel processor, adding graphics card and more memory, my question is do I change my processor first or install Windows 10

Solution
I would update the hardware first before installing the new OS. Not only will you avoid driver issues, you won't have to worry about activation problems. Get the hardware where you want it, then install the new OS.

What are your current specs? make/model.
What is your intended upgrade?

Do you mean dual processor or dual core?

Since you know your parts now work, I think I would do the windows 10 install first.
And... this would be a good time to install windows 10 on a ssd.
Disconnect your current hard drives.
That way you can be protected with whatever you have of value on your current hard drive
