I'm currently using Verizon FiOS 1GB service with a Asus RT-AX92U router and was wondering what ethernet card is better than my Gigabyte x570 Arous Elite ethernet?

My personal opinion is that most gigabit ethernet cards, in practice, are the same. There are cases where things like QoS could matter, but for the most part I doubt there would be any noticeable difference for you unless you are sharing with a lot of other people.

There should be nothing wrong with the adapter that already exists on the motherboard.

Multiple people are using my internet plus I just want a standalone card since I'm going have to replace my Mobo soon

The new motherboard will ALSO have a gigabit LAN port.

Unless it is broken, you'll see ZERO difference.

And the multiple people thing and QoS has nothing to do with the LAN port on the motherboard.
That would be upstream at the router level.

Unless your router and all the cabling between is also capable of that, yes.

That might be good if you were routinely transferring large amounts of data back and forth between your system and a NAS (also with 2.5Gbe ports).
