This is the hypothetical build I'm looking at atm. Is it worth getting the more expensive fans and AIO. Which I might be able to do as I think I'm waiting for prices to drop to build this and possibly until zen 6 is out or at least the 5070ti super comes out.

Are the quieter more expensive worth the extra money and do they provide better performance? Or are the phanteks fans not good? I'm assuming it would be best to buy as I don't want to put up with the hassle of figuring out the fans and they are designed to fit it. The D30 fans look like they are easier to install and have 10db less lower noise which I would prefer.

Apparently it only adds about 150 dollars. But it's still a bit pricier than without and I have no idea on the performance difference. It's about 5 decibels less than the D25's.

Does a low of 35 compared to 30 decibels make a difference?

Just to clarify sound is as subjective as aesthetics, one person might say they can't hear anything from the fans while another might show up and say they can hear the ticking of the motor.

IMHO, as a showcase build, you get to share the picture with Phanteks for having a majority of their parts listed in your build. On a side note the benefit you get with goin Phanteks is making sure the ecosystem is coherent across all fans. This eliminates the guess work on how to connect another fan to another hub.

Your fans would be grouped into 3's, having 2 groups, meaning you can hook one PWM cable daisychained off of each group to a PWM header towards the top or bottom of the motherboard;

and the same for the 3xARGB headers on your motherboard.

My 2 cents.

Since the case you've chosen supports back connect stealth motherboards you might want to consider one for an easier cleaner build.

I'm assuming i need to buy the phantex hub thing to add the rear fan. I read someone say that they needed it somewhere. At which point I wonder if it works in linux. I may need to get windows 11 or 12 for this build. So, far I've tried running the software in steam with proton but no luck. I'll assume I need windows to use the hub and the last fan.

I was sticking with their stuff for simplicity sake. And I figured the aesthetics were automatically matching. I like the look of that case specifically and just wanted it to be an easy build.

That is a good point. Are there any black BTF boards for x870E. I saw a rog one, but They seem like they are still coming out. I completely forgot to look into those.

Oddly the only boards on pcpartspicker are white atm. One more reason to wait to build my new pc.

Right now the few black BTF boards are mostly Intel boards. The Gigabyte Stealth with a regular X870 is probably the highest quality chipset available. I didn't want to wait because I hated my build every time I looked at all those wires so I got the ASUS B850 white one as soon as it was available and I'm really happy with it. Once you have a BTF and see how clean it looks you'll be forever committed to it. Since you didn't seem like you were in hurry I just thought its something you could monitor the news for. Most likely we'll have to wait for next year's CES to see major BTF announcements. The same goes for gpus; ASUS announced one and even put up a web page but I haven't seen any shipping yet.

That works. I think they said ces will have a rog btf hero that looked black. Or at least I hope it will. If not I'll need to change to the white case. At which point I'll probably wait for the 12 core stuff to come out. I'm theming on the number 12. So, ideally 12950x3d, but I could go with a 10950x3d. I want either a 6000mhz system with 24/48gb ram at 24gb/sec ram throughput or a 12000mhz system with 48x2/96 with 48gbs ram throughput as a silly theme. If I got a 96gb system I would want to have a 48gb gpu. So, if i only get a 24gb gpu I would just go with 24x2/48gb and 24gb/s throughput on the system ram. As stupid as that sounds. At which point that is my next 10 year + of computing.

Also thinking about this: (but in black.)

Or does it partly void the point not being able to see the side mirrors?

They also have a version with lcd screens in the middle. But they are wireless. Do they have a wired version of the LCD screens?

The lcd wireless have a 51 vs 62 cfm version. The 51 cfm is more espensive. Does that have better static pressure for a radiator. And are either of these good for a rad. I was thinking of changing it to the panorama.

Would that with the lianli wireless fans fit in that case? (Edit: I think they do.)

Pricey little things sadly.
