Which gaming build should i get?

So i recently went to a pc store to have them quote a build for me. These are the stuff they quoted

Graphics card: Asus GTX 970 Strix OC Edition
Motherboard: Asus B150 Pro Gaming Aura
CPU: Intel i5-6400
Rest of the stuffs are pretty normal

I was thinking whether i should get a normal Asus GTX 970 and use the extra money to get a better motherboard+cpu (e.g Asus Z170/MSI Z170 + i5-6500/6600)

Which would be better?

Don't they have MSI 970, what store are you buying from, they dont have a website ? I would get i5 6500 with B150 or H110 whichever is cheaper, you don't need Z motherboard as you can't overclock that cpu anyway

Unless you have another use for the Z series aside from overclocking or futureproofing then the b150 is already a good choice for a motherboard. You can probably get a normal Asus Gtx 970 so you can switch the 6400 for a 6600.
