Hi i am looking to buy a new gaming series keyboard but I am unable to decide which one I should get. I mostly play games like CSGO, Civilization 5, and FPS games like metro or gta.

I am also a programmer so would need a keyboard that's good for typing long long texts.

I have these in my mind right now :
Microsoft Sidewinder x4
Microsoft Sidewinder X6
Razer Arctosa
Razer Lycosa

I have heard that x6 has anti ghosting issues but are they still existent like in 2013 models. I really like the design of x6 so will I face any issues with the games I play?

Hello fellow gamer :)
Are you willing to purchase a mechanical keyboard instead of a rubber-dome keyboard? If you make the switch you won't be disappointed, your fingers will love you for it when you're programming. They are a bit more costly, but if you don't mind the price you won't regret it.
Read this guide and lemme know if you want to seek out some options: http://www.overclock.net/t/491752/mechanical-keyboard-guide
DO IT 😀

Solution

Hey buddy, I have seen the Mechanical Keyboard at one of my friends place who is having a DAS S Mechanical keyboard. The only issue I am having is the tick tick sound and the looks of it. I have a system with 7970HD and all the cathodes and lighting.
So i want a keyboard that looks good too.

Your friend might've had a Blue switch in his Das keyboard. The Blue switch makes the loud, high pitched sound when you press it down. Some people like it, some people don't it's all personal preference. Same with the looks of the keyboard. Check out this link and go down to section 2 to hear the different noises the switches make: http://www.daskeyboard.com/product/model-s-professional/
As for that brand's keyboard, I've never heard of them and usually mechanical keyboards are $100+ so I can't say whether it'll perform optimally. I do, however, love the Cherry MX Brown switch, as I have a keyboard with Browns myself. If you buy a mechanical keyboard and the switches are too loud for you, you can always buy O-Ring sound dampeners to reduce the audible sounds coming from the keyboard while keeping the nice clicky feel of the keys.
And there are many brands with backlighting. CM Storm Trigger, Rapidfire pro, maxkeyboards, corsair K70 (will be getting Brown and Blue options), Ducky brand.

So finally I have settled for the Corsair K70 Mechanical Keyboard. Which has created a large whole in my pocket and now my whole rig is of about $2500.
So now I would like buy a new mice too as I want to retire my $10 logitech one. Please suggest me a good mouse within $35.
The one I really like is Logitech G400 and the tt eSports Black Gaming mouse.
Please suggest.

I heard very good things about the G400. People really like the few buttons because they aren't overwhelming.
The Black Gaming Mouse is also well liked. I like the look of the Tt eSports mouse better. The Thermaltake mouse in my opinion looks to be made better, but that's just me.

The first mouse I bought, mainly for starcraft, was the Razer Abyssus. I loved it and had no problems with it. I eventually upgrading to a more macro centered mouse for mmorpgs. However, if you are just looking for a nice mouse with good accuracy it's great. http://www.amazon.com/Razer-Abyssus-Precision-Optical-Gaming/dp/B002XLR0JI/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1375768528&sr=8-2&keywords=razer+mouse
$31.99 on amazon

My friend uses a Cooler Master CM Storm Spawn 3500DPI Gaming Mouse and he loves it.
$31.48

It is also decently priced, but there are a bunch of nice options if you scout around for deals.

Thanks for you answers! I also like the look of tt Esports gaming black mouse more than any other. But I want to know if its actually ergonomic and durable for few years. I was unable to find any thorough reviews about it.

Dken I don't much love the design of CM Storm and I don't wanna buy Razer, as they have cheap quality material.

I saw some reviews on the Recon because I was aiming to Pre-Order the Mass Luminosity Recon mouse http://www.massluminosity.com/mouse/ Which is just a rebranded CM Storm with an awesome Human Power logo. A lot of people like it and in the comments on NewEgg say "Buy this mouse do it or I'll kill you" .... i may have exaggerated.
But yes, it is a good one.

HAHA that's not exaggeration. I just going to order that. You also do that or else I am gonna....... :ptdr:
The only thing is if it is good for FPS games?
