Which gives more FPS? GIgabyte G1 GTX 980 Ti OC or Asus Strix GTX 980 Ti OC? Do not care about coil whine or temps just performance. Most people say G1 but benchmarks differ.

There will not be much of a difference get the one with the better temps because then the card will not thermal throttle as much.

FPS won't be much different between the 2. I like both , can't lose with those 2 options.

get whichever one looks better, performance is within 1-2fps generally, you can always overclock the card slightly to match the other cards speed.

whichever one looks better. they will both perform literally within 1-2% of each other, best bet, get the coolest looking card or the coolest running card(temps) and a few mhz onto the core clock speed

I got the Strix, very good card runs cool, and OCs well. Also rather quiet, even when the fans kick in and gear up The GB card is very good also

I wouldn't try to run one 980ti for 4k, as even with the 980ti I have, my framerate at 4k is still sloppy to say the best. I've heard that the AMD R9 Fury X is decent at 4k rendering as well.
