Which GPU set up is best

I cant decide on what to do.... im running 3 1920 x 1080p monitors and im building a new rig for heavy gaming and video editing/rendering and need some help on deciding what video card/s to get.

Here are my options, let me know what you think

-GTX 780 SLI
-Single GTX 780 ti
- AMD R9 290x CrossFire

what power supply would i need? i know that the 290x's are the stock coolers and get hot, but my rooms always cold and will be using maximum case fans for best cooling solution. Let me know what you guys think i should do, thanks.

depends on what programs. if they use openCL or GL and or cuda.

With SLI 780s or CFX 290Xs it'd be wise to get a 1000W PSU, epecially with the 290Xs. 780ti would be fine on 700W or so. I second the Cuda/OpenCL question. Go Nvidia for any Adobe software.
