Question Fast Boot on or off ?

I thought about I will disable fast boot, but then games were worse than before. Like graphics was worse, and there was more screen tearing. I felt the enemy is much faster than me. However when I use Fast Boot on it didnt seem like that. The default is on. But why is that, or how is it possible?

What BIOS version are you on for your motherboard?

coolermaster 750W bronze
Coolermaster is the brand of the unit while 750W is the advertised wattage of the PSU. Bronze is the 80+ efficiency rating for the unit. What is the model of the unit and how old is the PSU?

Use DDU to remove all GPU drivers(intel, AMD and Nvidia) in Safe Mode, then manually install the latest GPU driver sourced from Nvidia's support site in an elevated command, i.e, Right click installer>Run as Administrator.

Doesn't make much sense to me. Something else is going on. Fast boot basically allows the motherboard to keep powering some components to keep stuff in memory after shutdown, so Windows doesn't have to load everything from scratch when booting (so faster boot, like the name says). It's basically telling the computer to go into deep hibernation instead of completely shutdown. Disabling it should not affect anything else than boot time and with modern SSDs, the difference is unnoticeable anyway. And it certainly doesn't cause screen tearing and faster enemies.

Lutfij might be right: looks like a driver issue. Maybe it doesn't load correctly when you do a clean shutdown? If you enable fast boot, shutdown your computer, power off the power supply and then turn everything on again do you have the same issue?

Thank you for your answer! Is it hoe should I use it? Becuase if yes, then why is it worse if I disable fast boot? Btw I have to disbale fast startup and hibernation because games keep changed when these was on.

I use the newest bios 3601.

Yes, it doesn't make any sense to me either. To find out I tried what you advised. I found out first game startup feels better and slower, but if I restart the game then it will be a faster and for me game will be worse. Then I realized in BIOS if I enable fast boot then next startup "AC power loss will be a fast boot" (it's a settings for fast boot in BIOS) again. So maybe that's the problem. But it felt so much better, smoother, when I use it on, probably because first game startup.

I already had some issues with hibernation and windows fast startup. Games kept change while I don't disable these settings. So should I use it disabled?

Btw new nvidia driver 572.16 is bad? I read a lot of people have issues with it. I didn't try it, just want to make sure.
